Showing a message between dates

I have a problem. I need to a mesage(text) to be shown between two dates.
i.e. "Merry x-mas" should only appear between 20. - 27. dec.

Is this possible in a simple way trough FP?

I know its not possible using FP (?), but if anyone know a simple HTML or
JavaScript? I've tried searching high and low w/o results..
