Open shape sheet, and enter "# ##/##"
in the Format cell of the Text Fields.

If you use the settings under Right-click > Precision & Units..., you can
choose Feet-Inch and it will display inches in fractions. IE 1'-4 3/16"

find Format cell of the Text Fields

select a shape, press right hand button of the mouse,
select "display shapesheet(or open ...)" .

Thanks Chris, I've tried that fix but it shows feet and inches. I want to
just show inches. Do you have any ideas?
