Shrink shapes and text simultaneously?

Hello,

When I try and resize a drawing that I have built in Powerpoint (eg
flowchart), the text size doesn't change with it. All that happens is the
drawing gets completely distorted... The same happens with lines....

I group all the pieces of the drawing together, but it doesn't make any
difference...

This drives me nuts? Is there any solution to this, please help!

P.S. I'm using Powerpoint 2003, but I think this has happened in all
versions??

ISM,

a quick workaround is this....

select all the parts of your drawing / diagram

edit menu > copy
edit menu > paste special > enhanced windows metafile (EMF)

You can now scale everything (and magically) the text scales too!

Hi Taj,

A million thanks for that it worked perfectly! You have literally saved me
weeks even months of late nights doing re-work on 400 slides! (and nulled out
years of previous frustration with this!)

Thanks also so much for the quick reply, Last night I was up to 4am trying
to sort out just 12 slides... So tonight, instead of another late night
working on it, I can go to sleep ealry, knowing the nightmare is over!
