i have outlook 2003. I have a real big problem with junk
mail. I don't know how or why but I have my email
addresses receiving over 350 junk emails a day. It just
seems to be growing and not improving. is there a way to
reduce this?

Here's a few fairly obvious options:

- Change your email address. Then they won't find you, at least for a while!

- Check whether your employer or ISP has optional SPAM filtering that you
can enable. If not, pressure them to get it!

- Buy a SPAM filtering program yourself. I have Norton Internet Security and
it seems to work quite well, although unless you have a fast PC it does slow
things down!

- Use Outlooks Rules to try to filter out messages with obvious words you
wouldn't expect in emails from your regular correspondents, like say
"Viagra". That only works so well, though!

Thanks for your reply. I should mention that it is a
company email accounts and it isn't spam it is directed
straight to these emails froma list. BTW how do you
filter unwanted words from outlook 2003 to be sent to
trash.

If your junk email is coming from a reputable list, unsubscribe from the
list! Usually mailing list emails contain information on how to do so.

To filter stuff, go to Tools -> Rules Wizard and go from there. Read the
help if you need more assistance, but it's pretty easy.
