Signature drop-down menu

My signature drop-down selection menu still contains a choice that I updated
with the Signatures edit tool (replaced it). IOW, that signature is no
longer one of the available signatures, but it still for some reason appears
in the drop-down box when creating a new email. When selected, it obviously
returns a blank entry -- but how do I get rid of it?

Thanks.

If this really matters to you, you'd have to do it one of two ways:

1)
€ Remove the Signatures file from your (Main) Identity folder in
~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2004 Identities/ folder.
€ Re-launch Entourage.
€ Now you'll have to re-make ALL your signatures from scratch.

OR

2)
€ Get my shareware Export-Import Entourage X scripts at

MacScripter.net <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/>

€ Use Signatures Export from X script to export your signatures.
€ Open up the Exported file in Excel.
€ If that unwanted signature appears by name, delete the row, then re-save
as Text (Tab Delimited). (It may not appear at - if not, don't worry about
it. Just close the file.)
€ Now remove the Signatures file from your (Main) Identity folder in
~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2004 Identities/ folder.
€ Relaunch Entourage and use Signatures Import into X script to import the
..txt file and re-import all your signatures without the corrupt one.

OR

3) It's possible that doing a Rebuild of your database might just fix it
without doing anything else. You can try. Hold down Option key when
launching Entourage and choose Rebuild.
