Signature formatting

The signature looks fine when editing however when the
message is composed the formatting of the signature
contains extra spaces through out the signature for every
message sent. I have recomposed the signature to no
avail. The signature is formatted in HTML. Any ideas
would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi Mike,

Have you tried deleting your signature files and then recreating the
signature?

- Outlook XP

(1) Shutdown Outlook.
(2) Search for 'Signatures' folder. Typically located in C:\Documents
and Settings\<userid>\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures
(3) Delete troublesome signature file(s) (E.g Mike.htm). You can
always delete the entire folder for the sake of overkill, it will be
recreated (w/o your old signatures) when you create a new signature.
See step #5.
(4) Launch Outlook.
(5) Recreate the signature.

Still the same result? If so, I'm sure some of the MVPs have a
better/more efficient/actual solution to share.
