Signature jpg attached

I created a signature with a jpg included. Is there anyway to avoid
having the jpg attach to the sent email?

No. The image has to be included with the message in order to be displayed
properly on the receiving end. There may be some special code out there
that can keep it from appearing in the Attachments field, but Entourage
doesn't support or use it.

Not true Mickey! In Entourage 2004 you can have HTML sigs, with embedded
images. These images will display when the message format is set to HTML.

This message is an example.

I guess I didn't phrase my response well. I know that you can include .jpg
images inline in HTML messages. I was saying that by doing so, the image is
sent along with the message, so you cannot prevent the image from appearing
in the "Attachments" box as well.

OK, sorry I misunderstood.

I agree you can¹t prevent the image from appearing as an attachment (since
it is an attachment!).
