Signature will not insert ALSO lost data when reinstalled....

Entourage has suddenly refused to insert my signature after doing so
for a long time and I can't figure out why or how to fix it....turned
html on, did all the checking of random list in edit box...its the only
signature I use and I NEED it back....don't want to leave Entourage
over this, but I am already pretty angry at MS for NOT telling me when
I reinstalled the software 3 weeks ago NOT to hit uninstall old
version....I did do that and lost a years worth of email/contacts (not
backed up of course)...which another issue if anyone knows how to
recover that would be great...but I am inclined to leave entourage if
this signature doesn't work...thanks if there is any help out there for
a Mac user of a Microsoft product....

Sorry to hear about your data loss. I've seen several reports of data loss,
but AFAIK there is no clear answer as to what happened. In the future,
backup your Identity folder before updating. The easiest way is to duplicate
the folder.

I'm sure you have verified that the sig is still listed. Have you deleted
the sig and recreated a new one?

You indicated you have an HTML signature. It's possible a corrupted cache.
Remove file "Tasman Browser.cache" from home folder /user/library/caches.
Log out/in.

If you are still having problems follow the steps for troubleshooting
Entourage:

Once you determine if it's your Identity or a problem in your User's folder,
it will help in finding a solution.
