Simple DB question

I last did this kind of thing years ago and have now simply forgotten how...

I have a very simple Access DB with entries of map placenames (Field 1), and
a one-letter code (Field 2) for the placename's corresponding map. Now... all
I want is for the user to enter a placename, and the result to return a
picture of the map which links to the actual map URL.

My problem is... how do I use the maps code letter in Field 2 to link to the
map picture (with associate URL). It seems a SQL query is required in FP
somewhere?
