Simple process to not be affected by any known or unknown virus or
worm.

Install Spam Freak available for free trial from:
http://www.topshareware.com/Spam-Freak-download-7912.htm

Setup: enter your pop mail accounts that you want filtered.

1. run in process mode, this will eliminate all spam.
2. run again in preview mode.
3. open each remaining mail in text view.
4. if you see a long series of gibberish and your not expecting a
file, its probably a virus, delete it.

Even simpler way to avoid a virus - never uncheck the default security in
Outlook 2002 or OE 6. Never open attachments directly - save them to your
hard drive. Install and keep updated an AV solution and update daily.

Last hint for avoiding viruses - don't be stupid and figure that some
anonymous person really loves you or wants to share a picture with you.
