Simple Search Problems

Using "from" "contains", "subject" "contains" etc. drop down menus.

When I complete a simple search on either inbox or sent mail for an email
addresss, name (or part of a name) or word from message subject, no
results are found even though I know emails are there. I have to scroll down
and manually find them myself. This is Entourage version from Office 2001
on Mac OSX.

Anyone help?/Got ideas?

Thanks

It won't work with e-mail addresses since it is only filtering by what is
actually displayed in the From or To columns, and those columns only show
the display name, not the e-mail address.

If subject is broken, then I don't know what's going on. Feel free to reply
with a message attached that you think should be found and the text you're
typing to find it. We can see if we can reproduce the problem.
