I never had this problem prior to the 11.2.3 update, I never had any
problems with Entourage, maybe a corrupt database once in the 10 years
that I have been using Entourage. But this latest update has made
Entourage my most unstable and unreliable application ever. I'm having
more crashes and problems since the update of which the latest and
newest problem is this jumbled text thing. Messages or parts of them
are coming in all gibberish. But when I click on reply, or when the
message is replied back to, the text is fine. But new text at the top
of the mail is jumbled, until the next volley.
I read a post from 2005 where it's said to turn off viewing HTML eMail
which will also defeat other viewing options. I need to be able to see
HTML eMail to proof the many that I generate for clients. Also the
poster said that he noticed that the problem mail was from Yahoo. Mine
is not domain specific and only since the 11.2.3 update. Plus this mail
is mostly all text, not much if any HTML formatting to it.
Is anyone aware of a fix for this? And is there a direct avenue to get
these problems to MS? I have been sending a minimum of 5 crash reports
to them a day since the 11.2.3 update. I click send every time one pops
up. I have been told by several Apple Tech reps that Apple doesn't do
much with their crash reports. Does Microsoft with theirs?
