Since I compressed files Windows Installer always initializes

Ever since I compressed files, Windows Installer initializes...every time I
open Word, try to scan something, open Internet Explorer, etc. It never did
this before I compressed files. How do I stop this?

I suggest you ask this in a newsgroup or forum that supports the version of
Windows you're using...
