I have a 10 slides presentation with a few pictures in it
and the size of my presentation is 55Mb!!!! When I take
out the pictures it drops to a couble of Kb. But the
pictures I put in are'nt bigger than 100Kb each for a

Along with Bill's suggestions, How are you saving your presentation? If your
saving with backward compatibility to PowerPoint 95 you will have huge files, as
there is no compression in that version.

I also was having this problem, with my latest
presentation at over 5MB. I clicked on the first picture
in my presentation and in the picture toolbar selected
compress all pictures. Presto, the size was reduced to
just over 950kb.
