sizing pages for different screen resolutions

I also am confused about how to construct my site so it
will fit right on 800 X 600 or 1024 X 768. Plese send any
help you can.

Hi Dick,

Define "fit right"? If you view our web site http://www.websunlimited.com at
800x600 you'll see that it fills the screen. At 1024x768 it will only fill
the center of the screen. This is accomplished by doing the design is a
single cell table of width 760 (40 pixels are used for the scroll bars).

You can also use a table with a width set at 100% but that may create
problems depending upon your design. For example, if you used left sided
menus of some length then on a high resolution monitor the text content
takes up very little space in a vertical direction and the menu will look
out of proportion with the text content ( why you chose to design the site
as it is).
