Slide goes blank

Has anyone ever experienced that when opening a PowerPoint presentation, a
slide goes blank? All of the information is wiped off of the slide but the
slide remains?

I would start by making sure I had all service packs (especially if you have
2003 with no packs)

Then maybe look at turning graphics accelleration back a little (right click
desktop > properties>settings>advanced>troubleshoot)
