Slide progression

I posted this yesterday but it didn't appear!

My wife wants to demonstrate the use of hyperlinking in
PowerPoint to a group of teachers and teacher's
assistants who teach children with special needs so that
they can use it as a tool to tell the children stories
etc. Whilst we can set up all the hyperlinks etc I cannot
find a way to switch off the progression of slides when
either the spacebar or enter is pressed so progression
from one slide to the next is only when an icon is
clicked. Does anyone know a way please?
Thank you

If you open your presentation
Then select the "slideshow" menu
Then choose "set up"
Then tick the "Kiosk" option.

This makes powerpoint only respond to hyperlinks or action settings with the
mouse.
The only key on the keyboard that then works, I think, is the Esc key.
