Yes, It is an ActiveX Control.
If you are using Office 2007, it is in the Controls section of the Design
tab. Click on that and then select the Microsoft Slider Control, Version 6.0.
If you are using 2003 or earlier (don't have it installed on my machine), I
the last button on the controls toolbar is the one you want.
