slooow upload with FrontPage 2003

I have personal web on certain server on the Internet and i create and edit
it with FP2003. Problem is if i upload it(synchronize) within FP, upload is
veeery slow...some 1 kbyte per second, while if i connect to my ftp with
other client (like Total commander), upload speed is quite normal - some 15
or more kbytes per sec ( i have ADSL 1024/256). I wonder...is it any setting
in FP that limits upload speed or what?

FrontPage uses the internet connection settings from Internet Explorer.

Try this: right click the IE icon on the desktop, click Programs, click "Reset Web Settings"
in the pop up uncheck "Reset My homepage" and then click OK all of the way out.

You might also clear the temporary internet and history files.

You might also go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm
and download FP Cleaner.
Run the functions to clear the Temporary and Cache(.web) files.

done that. Same. I fear that it might be something connected the fact that
when i publish, FP shows itself as FP to my remote server (i guess) and
server limits upload link...why it hates FP i don't know, but i guess it
hates it...since when uploading i see lights on my modem every now and then
just stop blinking, which means no upload.
Maybe i'll just have to upload from Total Commander...
Thanks.

Steve,

Thanks for the link to FPCleaner. Although I'm not experiencing
Sleeperman's issue, your comments are well taken for general knowledge.
