I have Office 20003 on volume licensing. The problem I'm having is the
installation of ‘complete install’ or even ‘minimum install’ is taking far
longer than it should - over 3 hours.
I have tried numerous media CD's (I ordered several), copying all the files
(including hidden one's) off the CD onto a new folder on the desktop and
running it from there. I've even tried copying the contents onto a new CD-R,
with no luck.
The installation does complete eventually, but I have a further 20 PC’s to
setup (…and yes I have tried this on a number of machines with different
software and hardware components.)
Office XP Pro installs on these machines in no time at all.
Any help would be appreciated.
