Slow performance

When I click on Enourge it takes much longer to start up. Also when in
Address book and I go to "Name contains and type in a name it take an
unacceptable amount of time to find the names . I only have about 1600
names in my addressbook. Any suggestions. Please email me at

Options to improve performance in Entourage:

Simply resorting the names in the Address Book can alleviate freezing,
stalling and slow window switching.

For example in the Address Book: Once it opens, click on the name column to
re-sort your contacts. That should cause Entourage to re-sort the list and
speed things up.
