Small annoyance with the Word 2003 toolbars

Good afternoon

I have this small annoyance with the toolbars of Word 2003
When I start Word 2003, it opens all right in it's own window etc

But then the toolbars are getting refreshed, meaning
- They disappear for a short period of tim
- They are built up again right afterward

Can this be avoided
It's not a dramatic proble
But it just does not look right, does it
