Small Business Accounting Question

John

How do you create an invoice for a partial pre-paid amount. For instance if I
was manufacturing an item for a customer and wanted them to pre-pay a
percentage (30% up front and 70% when ready to ship) of the total quoted
price before production. Quickbooks allows this by using a feature called
Progress Invoicing. Any help would be appreciated.

I could not find the SBA discussion group initially so I thought here would
be a good place to start. Thank you for the info, they have answered my
question.

Again, Thanks

John
