How can I create smart folders in Entourage? I read a comment on the board that says they are custom views, but the instructions to create one are wrong.

You're looking for Saved Searches.

First, search Entourage's Help menu for this movie: "QuickTip - Save
searches to use anytime".

That will give you a basic idea of how to create a simple search.

Once you've created a Saved Search, select it in the Folders List on the
left. You can edit it to make it more complex by clicking the little " +
" button in the upper right corner of the search just to the right of
the Save button.
