SMTP / Mac Firewall Configuration - Entourage

Hi there!

I understand that the Mac Firewall Extension can cause SMTP errors
when using Entourage. I have been told there is a way to re-configure
the Firewall but I am CLUELESS (and blonde) so if anyone can help, I'd
appreciate it.

???? Why ??? If I quite understand the way it works, ipfw blocks
incoming traffic. Sending mail through SMTP is outgoing. Beside that,
all other apps would be affected as well.

Well it pretty much depends of what version of the system you are using,
but in this specific case I'm clueless as to what you'd want to achieve
there. I use the firewall and have no SMTP problem at all.
