Recently I have been unable to send email through Outlook. I have been using
the same Pop3/Smtp combination for several years, but a few days the server
stopped responding (for sending only) and reporting a Send error
(0x800CCC0F). The server (it is the same for recieving and sending) still
recieves mail fine. I have checked with the server administrators about the
server functioning--it is. Additionally, I have 2 other smtp servers I have
access to, but neither of these would work. I tested all three servers on
another computer with a different internet connection, all three are
functional but not on this computer. For each server I have tried changing
the SSL settings, but that does not change anything. When I test account
settings, the outgoing server is found, but the test message cannot be found
as the server does not respond. For reference I am using a DSL connection
and a Netgear wireless router, and the connection has worked for many months
with this set up. Is there something else in Outlook that I can try or is
more likely an issue with my router setup? Thank you. ~ Zach
