Some macros do not work in Terminal Services

D

David Woodmansee

I created a database in Access 97. This database had
hyperlinks to various macros created in ths version of
Access. Specifically I created a link to a Macro
called "Quit Application" and used a quit command in the
macro with the "Save" attribute. This Macro worked well
when run on my computer with Windows 2000.

I then uploaded the database to our server and converted
the database to Access 2002. I use Remote Desktop to
access the server. WHen I open the database, I find most
macros work, but the Quit Application macro gives me an
error > "Can't Exit the database now. If you're running a
VIsual Basic module that is using OLE or DDE, you may need
to interupt the module." Further another message "Can't
follow the hyperlink. Please verify the destination."

I have tried this with a new 2002 database with a quit
macro and get the same result.

Is this a bug? If not, how do I get around this?

Thanks in advance for any assistance....
