Sort by date

i have a report which gets it data from a qry. In the qry the dates are
sorted like
01/01/2006
17/01/2006
29/01/2006
04/02/2006 etc etc

In my report the dates are displayed in reverse order

04/02/2006
29/01/2006
17/01/2006
01/01/2006

Is there any way to display these dates in the reverse order, like the qry

In your grouping and sorting dialog box for your report, just change the
sort to ascending.

Sorting in a report's record source query is a waste of
time. Report sorting is specified in the Sorting and
Grouping window (View menu).
