Entourage for Office 2001 using OS 9.2 has started exhibiting problems when
sorting by name or during finds by From. Specifically, If I click on the
From button in the list pane, the messages all rearrange, but not in
alphabetical order. Similarly, using the Filter field (upper right corner)
and typing a name of someone who I KNOW has multiple messages in my Inbox,
no names show up; at other times the correct name shows up along with others
who do not belong.
There are only 190 messages in the box, with a couple hundred more filed
away in subfolders. I'm now where near my 2GB limit on file size.
I imagine somehow the indexing system has gotten screwed up or corrupted,
but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and how they
solved it.
