Sorting Filtering Tasks

In the Entourage X Calendar "Day View", is there a way to sort/filter the
tasks so that only the tasks for the next seven days are shown?

I don't like seeing recurring tasks shown, for example, once I've
completed that week's version?

Similarly, is there a way to sort the tasks in the Calendar "Day View" by
priority within date?

There are ways to do all this sorting in the "Tasks" section. Why can't
those carry over into the Calendar section? This works with the Palm
Desktop, and I thought it worked that way in Entourage 2001
