I have researched the topic in this forum and have learned that Entourage's sorting method leaves much to be desired. Surprising given the developer also creates the leading spreadsheet application with numerous sorting options.
I'd like to know which data fields Entourage uses to sort the Name column. Does it only use the last name field in the "Name & E-mail" tab?
