Sound beep

How do I turn off sound beep on my computer when new emails comes?
In Windows XP, ControlPanel > Sounds I have "NO Sounds" so I don't know what
is he beeping me every time I get new email?
I want to turn it off please

Tools>Options>Preferences>Email Options>Advanced Email Options uncheck the
'Play a sound' box.
