Sound Files in Power Point

N

I use the Insert file option and save to a Pen drive. Works fine - but
when I insert it into a different PC at a conference where the pen
drive has a different letter (say E rather than F) then the sound files
do not play as the paths have changed. Is there a way around this?

Thanks

The link has probably broken. You can either embed the sound(wav format only,
try converting sound into wav format using audacity
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ ), OR

Create a folder,
Move the sound and ppt into the folder.
Re-insert the sound. This will create a pathless link.

Check this out for more information:

email a presentation"

Save the sound file and the presentation to the drive (in a common folder)
and run it all from there.
