I am wondering if anyone has figured out how to get rid of the sometimes long
pauses of "dead air" between slides ( the last picture of the slide stays up
and the sound ends anywhere from 4-8 seconds before slide changes) this is
when there is different sounds (song) on each slide. I have changed the music
to .wav and this reduces the amount of time but still dosen't always give a
smooth slide change. Thank you for any help and for all of the help I have
gotten from this site.

What time do you have set in "automatically after" in the transition pane?

I usually put 3-5 seconds in the "automatically after"

I should tell you too that the pause is there when I use mouse click to move
the slides too.
