Hi,

I'd like to use as a sound for my incoming mail the CTU-sound from 24.
So I found the file but the problem is: I don't know how to use him.
I went to 'preferences' in entourage, checked the notification options
and had only 3 possibilities in the drop-down list: Default, Random and
Microsoft Sound set.

Can someone advise me ?

And if it can be changed, which .extension should be used ? (wav, ...)

You're not stating which version of Entourage you're using. If you're using
Entourage v.X, you can download SoundSet's free Expression
<http://www.soundsetcentral.com/software.html> to create new soundsets. For
Entourage 2004 (and v.X), have a look at the Entourage help site
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/rules/sounds.html>. You'll need to have that
sound in .aiff format, though, for which you might require additional sound
conversion software, such as QuickTime Pro.

Hi, I've got a similar problem using Entourage 2004. I can create a script
that will play a sound when triggered by a rule, but I'm sure it would be
easier to edit the existing sound set, or create a new one. I've tried
Expression X, but it doesn't seem to work on Entourage 2004, and will also
not accept any of my sound files, whether they be .aiff or .wav or mp3. If
anyone knows of another way of doing this, or of a more-up-to-date sound set
editor I'd be very grateful!
