Source Edit function in Entourage for Mac

In the PC version you can paste source code into a Source Edit window
accessed from the View menu. It also allows for an Edit and Preview
viewing function.

But in the Mac version the View menu offers a Source window that does
not appear to allow any editing or pasting at all. How can I access (or
achieve) the same Source Edit function in the Mac??

You can't directly edit the source of any incoming or outgoing mail message.
It's probably possible to edit it using a script (as I suspect that's how
some of Paul's scripts work), but I'm pretty sure the UI doesn't allow it.

Even in AppleScript you can't edit the source of a message. What some of my
scripts do is make a new message with a modified source and delete the
original.
