Sources and Uses

Hope you can help. Looking to solve for value "X" which
makes the sum of "Sources" equal to the sum of "Uses",
that is, how much do I need to break even. It's not as
easy as sum(Uses) less sum(Sources) because odd or even
iterations give different results. One further
complication is that one of the Uses is dependent on the
sum of the Sources (taxes on Sources). Excel give some
really weird answers when you factor that in. Would
appreciate any advice you can give. Thanks

Sources 10
20
X
__
30 sum Sources

Uses 40
50
__
90 sum Uses

it is sum(uses)-sum(sources except x).
Tools>options>Calculation, check Iteration and the options there.
