SP? update to Project 2007?

Is there a SP1 update to Office 2007 / Project 2007 that is supposed to fix
the compatibility problems with importing 2003 files into 2007 and then
saving them as 2003 files. I have SP3 to Office 2003 installed along with
Project 2003. Project 2007 is installed separately. Project 2007 is the
only Office 2007 program I have installed. I originally uninstalled 2003 and
installed 2007. However I had many issues with 2007, so reinstalled 2003.

When I save a 2007 as 2003 many of the TEXT1 - 30 values disappear. If I
open the 2003 file in Project 2003 the values are gone, but if I open the
2003 file in 2007, the values are there. WHASSSUP?

A Service Pack for Proj 2007 has been promised but has not been released
yet. There is no firm date given (only that it will be before April) and
there is no public announcement regarding what bugs it fixes or does not
fix.
Custom fields are something there have been a number of issues with so I
expect that some of the problems with them will be fixed.

Thanks Jack for the update info. MSP 2007 has been out for over a year and
they still haven't come out with an update? I did discover last night that
my MSP 2003 sp3 will read 2007 files now, albeit it's READ ONLY and can be
'save as' a 2003 file only from within 2003. The Custom values I was missing
were there in the 2007 file I read in. I've found that if I open a 2003 file
in 2007 and immediately save it as a 2007 file with All Tasks showing, then
everything seems to save fine. I can make changes to the 2007 file and save
either as 2007 or 2003 format and so far it seems to be doing right.

In Custom Fields I'm not happy with 2007 in that it shows only the values
not the descriptions for the values when you Group them. 2003 gave you the
value and the description in the Group heading. Hehhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
