SP2 changed the names of my folders!!!

Before and after SP2, the folders list showed my e-mail folders with
simple names, such as "Apartment" or "Travel". However, since
installing SP2, they have been sort of re-named when I need to choose
one for, as an example, to move mail to or set up a rule.

In other words, "Apartment" is now "Apartment (On My Computer)" and
"Travel" is now "Travel (On My Computer)".

I can't seem to find any way to changing this.

I don't know if it is relevant, but after installing SP2, Entourage
couldn't read my Main Identity and I had to rebuild it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I see this too. Although it's handy to see where the folder is if
there's more than one with the same name, I'd like to suppress the
display of "(On My Computer)", treating it as the default location.

Showing the location next to the folder name makes the list much less
readable.

I don't think you can... With SP2, Entourage now manages multiple
calendar, address books, and so forth and it needs to be able to
differentiate them. For instance, I have an Exchange account and I now
have an address book (On my computer) and another one (Exchange).

Entourage adds the location automatically now :-\

I can understand the need for this if you are using Exchange. However,
I'm not. And, as I recall, on a (cough, cough) Windows system,
Microsoft Outlook doesn't show this location tag if Exchange is turned
off.

Maybe it's MS once again being inconsistent, giving us the worst of
options while giving Windows users the best (why didin't the
incorporate the possibility of deciding what day and time for each mail
message to be sent instead of the current "now" or "next time"
options?).

Is this an IMAP account, then? Because I just have POP and see no "on my
computer" tags added.

Nope, it's a regular POP account. And I've never had Sharing turned on
in any form whatsover at any time.

Oops, that was a lie. I was looking in the lefthand listing instead of on
the Move to menus, where it does show up. Yeah, this is severely
annoying--especially since I only use POP and *everything* is on my
computer.

I wouldn't mind a two-column listing, where folder names were in one
column and the location in the other. The way it is now is very
cluttered and hard to read.
