SP2 split calendars?? Not a typical upgrade...

I have a user that I updated to SP2 last night. When she came in today,
she saw the typical 2 calendars- one "On my computer" and one on the
exchange server. The only problem is that MOST of her events were left
on her "On my computer" calendar and only a few were transferred to the
Exchange server.

I eventually dragged all of her events back to the exchange calendar,
but I have concerns about what that means for those events being
updated or canceled in the future.

I did have a backup of her data, so I pulled her O2k4 Identity folder
from yesterday and tried everything to get those events back on the
server using the old version of Entourage. But It didn't seem so help
at all. Of course, in the old Entourage, all of the events are there in
one calendar, but they weren't being posted (Sync'd) to the server (I
had her in webmail to see what was on the server).

I would like to know if anyone has seen this problem and found a
workaround. At this point, I am really concerned that this may have
happended to other users in my company that I haven't heard from yet.

Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Brett

When you first upgrade an earlier 11.x identity with an Exchange account,
there is a time before we successfully contact the Exchange server where we
have _not_ yet unmixed the Exchange Contacts and Exchange Calendar items. At
the point where we talk to the server, we are able to query information
about those particular folders (which previous versions of Entourage did not
download) and can, at that point, perform the split.

Had the user not connected to Exchange yet?

Well, the user didn't have her AD password saved in her keychain, but
that hasn't caused problems with any other users. (Although we do
recommend that they save the password.) The user had been using the
application (sending/receiving emails, etc) about an hour before
realizing the calendar issue. So, she had connected to the server.
It seems to have only happened to her (out of about 130 users) so at
this point I will assume it was a fluke. But it should be noted at
least.
Our environment is: Network home directories on a Tiger server (10.4.2)
and Clients running 10.3.8.

Thanks.
