Space in data causing truncation

Hello, I am pullling data from a database and passing the fields through the
following asp statement (not actual domain). The last field, curcon is
actually a first and last name in the same field with a space in it. When I
build the statement below, the last name is dropped off, and all I get is
first names. Anys suggestions.

The complete URL needs to be URLencoded.
This means that illegal characters, like / in the date, and spaces are
encoded in a form that can be used in a URL.

http://www.x.com/muskyfestcontestan...mage=kandice.jpg&gbd=8/14/2003&curcon=Kandice
Lastname
becomes

http://www.x.com/muskyfestcontestan...ice.jpg&gbd=8/14/2003&curcon=Kandice+Lastname
