Spam Filter

Up until today the entourage junk mail filter has worked perfectly: not
a single junk email/spam has got through to my Inbox. Today an email
from the dreaded 'Israeli Brokerage services' got through direct to my
inbox despite my protection level being set to 'exclusive' . I
understand this spammer has discovered a cunning way around most spam
filters. I have advised Mactopia, but any other Mac user (every other
Mac user??) had this problem and know a solution?

It's possible that the e-mail is using a return address that exists in your
Address Book; that's called "spoofing" an e-mail address. There's not much
you can do in that case. You could add a rule in Tools > Rules to delete
messages with certain characteristics that the Junk Mail Filter lets through
if you wish.
