Spam Nukes Entourage

One of the more recent things I am seeing with spam is No subject, and no
From.

This is causing Entourage to crash out with no error message.

I am assuming others are seeing this also.

I am running against an Exchange server, so my solution is to go into OWA,
and delete the offending mail.

I would have expected this to have been a QA test for the product...
apparently not.

Office X / Entourage 10.1.5. OSX 10.3. Exchange 2000 SBS.

I get a crash when downloading mail like you described. Workaround is
to temporarily turn off the Junk Mail Filter, download the mail and
manually delete it. As far as I know, it only crashes if the Junk
Mail Filter is on. Other workarounds are to use a different email
client to download the offending email, then go back to using
Entourage, but that's just not acceptable to me, so I use toggling the
Junk Mail Filter off, then back on.

Yes, Entourage has some pretty big Quality Assurance SNAFUs in it.
Hopefully they will be fixed in a future update.
