spamassissin sa-learn and entourage 2004 Junk E-mail

Hi,

I hope someone can help me with this. On the mail server (UW-imap) I run
spamassissin and it does quite a good job. A few mails pass through and get
sniped by Entourage's junk filter and stored in an imap folder on the server.
Periodically I run sa-learn on this folder in order to teach it about the
missed spam.

since I switched to Entourage this is no longer working and I only get:
Learned from 0 message(s) (0 message(s) examined).

what format should the Junk Email folder be ? If I specify --mbox on sa-learn
commandline I get 0 messages examined and if I use --dir - for maildir - I
get 1 messages examined and I sure can tell there are a few more ...

Funny is that when I feed it other folders with ham they are read ok. Only
the Junk E-mail folder gives trouble, even if I created it on the server !

with kind regards / met vriendelijke groeten,
Ronald

I'm not familiar with spamassassin, but there is nothing unusual about the
way entourage formats the imap folders - it just works with the server's
standard format.

The only thing different about the spam folder is that internally entourage
assigns it a unique 'folder id', but this is internal to entourage and does
not affect anything on the server - the server doesn't even know about it.

Is it possibly a corrupt folder? Right click on the folder in entourage and
select 'repair message list'
