Spatial Relation Function Issue

I am using Visio Spatial Relation function to determine if two visio objects
are touching each other. One of the Object is a line segment of two parts
that looks like the letter "L". The system compares by width and I just
wanted to determine if the other visio object is touching or within a certain
limit of touching the vertical line of the "L" it self.

I would appreciate any help.

I am using Visio 2003.

Should work fine.
The coordinates only work in internal units i.e inches.
