Special Formatting to values in Project 07

Mike

Hi all,

I'm curious if there's a way to format individual cells in Project
2007 based upon values? For example, I'm doing a calculation in a
custom field that shows me the variance difference in last week's
remaining work and this week's remaining work. If the variance
difference is zero, then I really don't care to pay attention. If the
variance is > 1 but < 8 hours, I'd like to highlight the cell
background yellow. While if the variance is > 8 hours, then it needs
to be red.

As close as I've seen is the "text styles" where I could highlight
based on "cell changes". Where a cell would be highlighted if it has
changed... but this has serious (if not obvious) limitations.

Any input is welcome!

Kind regards,
Mike

Microsoft Project 2007 does not offer conditional formatting, such as what
you find in Excel. Sorry.

Mike,

This article is exactly what I was seeking. I haven't applied it to
our projects yet, but the article you linked appears quite thorough
and informative. I'll rate it after I apply it to my projects, but
thank you in advance!

Kind regards,
Mike
