Specify Folders to sync in Entourage 2008?

I am experiencing a problem with a user who wants to use both Outlook 2003
and Entourage 2008 (on separate computers) to connect to an exchange mailbox.
I have tracked the issue to being a programming error that I hope M$ will
eventually resolve, but in the meantime, I wonder if a possible workaround
exists.

Here's what I'm trying to do: Allow Entourage to sync everything from the
Exchange mailbox EXCEPT the calendar. (or free/busy info).

I am a Mac/entourage noob... i think that may be self explanitory....

Thanks,

What you're wanting is not completely possible without some sacrifice.

The Exchange server address under the Account Settings tab is
responsible for mail, calendar and contacts.

The Public folder server address under the Advanced tab is for public
folders and free/busy information.

The LDAP server address under the Advanced tab is for GAL browsing.

You could probably set up the account as an IMAP account rather than an
Exchange account and then set up a Directory Service account for GAL
lookups to accomplish what you're needing but you wouldn't be able to
access public folders.

Hope this helps!
