Specify reply-to address on a per-message basis in Entourage 2004

There was a conversation about a similar topic in May of this year, but
the thread has since expired.

I would like to use the reply-to address field in Entourage 2004 on a
message by message basis. I have seen that I can add a universal
reply-to header through the Account settings that would be added to
every message I send, however this is clunky. I don't want all replies
to my e-mail to go to the same address. Sometimes I will want replies
to come back to the address I am sending from, other times I will want
them to go elsewhere.

I'll be damned if I can find the option to do so anywhere, however.

This is a pretty standard feature of, well, just about any other e-mail
client I can imagine. I would hope, with Entourage being the most
expensive of them all, that it would have such a basic and simple
feature. Surely it does, and I'm just missing it. You never know though!

There also does not appear to be any rule that allows messages to
certain recipients to carry particular reply-to addresses either.

Unfortunately, I cannot set up other accounts, as my organisation's
SMTP server will only allow sending of e-mail originating from the one
address we have been allocated. I may receive through as many accounts
as I please, but I may only send out through the one. Obviously this
would have been my first choice had it been possible.

If anyone can suggest anything, please let me know :)

Go to Tools > Accounts, and create a new account. If the Assistant shows
up, select "Configure Account Manually". Then select POP as the account
type, and click OK. Call the account "Reply to X", where X is the address
to which replies will be directed. Uncheck the option to "Include this
account in my Send & Receive All schedule".

Now, create an account with your name, your e-mail address, and the correct
SMTP server settings, leaving the POP server settings blank. Click the
"Options" tab, and manually enter in the Reply-To header as the header and
the reply-to e-mail address as the value.

You can repeat the above processes to create several send-only accounts with
different reply-to addresses. Then, when you compose a message, you can
simply select a different address from the "From" pop-up menu to have
replies directed to a different account.

His From address can still be his required address. You can have ten
accounts with the same From address and different Reply-To headers.
