I'm running Office XP under Windows XP Home edition.
Every time I open an Office aplication (Word, Outlook, etc.) it wants to
install Speech Recognition. I continue to turn off the option in TOOLS,
close the application and then re-open. On the subsequent re-open it does
NOT try to install Speech Recognition. HOWEVER, after I reboot the machine,
for whatever reason, the applications begin all over again with this
nonsense. Obviously there is something in the registry that remains set to
cause the application to act this way. Does anyone know what needs to be
altered in order to stop this annoyance?
TIA,
Dick
