Speech recognition tries to install itself - nuisance.

Speech recognition tries to install itself every now & then during a slide
show and when it happens it freezes the mouse. (You have to exit the slide
show and cancel the operation asking if it should install the files.) This
isn't a huge problem (arrow keys still work) until you get that one person
running a show who either yells out, "It's stuck!" or just assumes there are
no more slides. I'd rather it quit asking rather than install this
feature. Any thoughts? David

Hi David,

Does this happen on every presentation or only certain
presentations?

Do you have speech recognition software installed on your
PC or did you and have now removed it?

What version of PowerPoint?
